A look back in time...
Xtremist-2 was originally formed as a Counter Strike Source community that hosted a Gungame server. Eventually the community grew, donations increased, and the web site was born--as well as another server which was dubbed "Vanilla" for a plain CSS server without mods (aside from a few hilarious sounds for nade kills, etc). Between the beginning of x2 and the present, many members have come and gone as well as many long term members carving out their our place in our hearts. Today, the CS:S Division of x2 is still a strong part of the core of our existence, as well as the home to our competitive league team "x2 Core" who plays in XPL-IM division, ESEA-Open division, and regularly scrims against other teams.
This rapidly growing game is the newest addition to Xtremist-2's repertoire of indulgence. Be sure to join us in vent for some great team play!
